House of Delegates
The OSMA House of Delegates is the legislative body for governance of the association. The House of Delegates is responsible for deliberating issues presented in the form of resolutions and determining if organizational policy should be established for particular issues. The body also elects the leaders of the organization.
The body is composed of the OSMA Council and officers and elected delegates that represent chartered county medical societies, medical specialty societies, medical students and medical residents and fellows. The House of Delegates meets once annually during the OSMA Annual Meeting.
The 2012 OSMA Annual Meeting will be held March 23-25 at the Hilton Columbus at Easton. The annual session begins on Friday with the popular Practice Management Symposium. The theme for 2012 is Preparing for the Future: Redefining the Medical Practice Environment. The House of Delegates will convene on Saturday and Sunday to consider resolutions introduced for consideration. Information on the resolutions will be posted as it becomes available.
