Membership Resolution 01-11

During the 2011 OSMA Annual Meeting, the House of Delegates adopted Resolution 01-11, a membership choice option for Ohio physicians, as the first item of business recommended from Resolutions Committee 1. As a result of this action, Ohio physicians will have the option, beginning in the 2012 membership year, to select how they want to participate in organized medicine – with a combined membership in both state and county medical societies, or membership in only the OSMA or in only a county society (if a county-only membership is permitted by the county medical society).
