CMS Releases Information on HIE and Medicaid Expansion
Thursday, December 13, 2012The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has responded to questions from several Governors regarding questions on the Health Insurance Exchanges (HIE) and Medicaid. The document that addresses Medicaid expansion explains that CMS will not give states the flexibility to expand Medicaid to levels below 133 percent of the federal poverty level and still receive the enhanced federal match rate.
