New COB Policy for CareSource
Wednesday, July 11, 2012CareSource has asked the OSMA to communicate its new Coordination of Benefits (COB) policy with members. The policy says that when CareSource coordinates benefits with the primary carrier, CareSource will pay the patient responsibility (co-payment, co-insurance, deductible) up to the CareSource allowable amount regardless of the amount that is paid by the primary insurance.
