OSMA Members Chosen to Talk HIT in DC
Thursday, June 21, 2012Several OSMA members were among the 82 health care providers from across the country who were invited by the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to two events held in Washington, D.C.
Mark Frazer, MD, of Summit Family Physicians, Navkaran Singh, MD, of Seven Hills Women’s Health Center and Ron Zile, MD, of Highland Family Medicine, were part of a group of health information technology (HIT) leaders from the Greater Cincinnati area invited to share their success stories of how technology can help improve patient care with national HIT leaders.
More information on this story is available from HealthBridge. This news comes as HHS announced that more than 112,400 hospitals, physicians and other eligible providers have received more than $5.7 billion for adopting electronic health record systems.
