OSMA to Host Pain Management CME in Cincinnati and Toledo
Thursday, July 19, 2012To combat the growing epidemic of prescription drug abuse and diversion in Ohio, the OSMA is hosting an event, “Prescribing Controlled Substances in Ohio during a Prescription Drug Abuse Crisis,” aimed at improving medical care for patients with chronic pain and the practice of prescribing controlled substances. Topics include using the Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System (OARRS), identifying and confronting potential abuse, an update on House Bill 93 and more.
The Toledo event is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. For more information, click here or click here to register.
