OSMA to Host Pain Management CME in Columbus

The OSMA is hosting an event in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Health, “Prescribing Controlled Substances in Ohio during a Prescription Drug Abuse Crisis,” aimed at improving medical care for patients with chronic pain and the practice of prescribing controlled substances.

Topics include identifying and confronting potential abuse, using the Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System (OARRS), an update on House Bill 93 and more. This course is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 11 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Mount Carmel West in Columbus.
