Traumatic Brain Injury CME Offered
Thursday, July 19, 2012The OSMA is working with the Ohio National Guard to provide physicians with the opportunity to learn more about Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Please mark your calendar for an event on Aug. 16 from 8 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus.
The day includes a course which is certified for 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM and will cover symptoms, treatment options and signs that point to a need for alternative treatments for TBI. The class is part of the Ohio National Guard’s TRICARE Awareness Event, at which physicians will have the opportunity to learn more about the Ohio National Guard’s work and have the opportunity to view military vehicles up close, like a Black Hawk helicopter.
If you are interested in participating, please email the OSMA’s Sarah Elek.
