Upcoming Deadline to Begin Meaningful Use Reporting
Friday, August 10, 2012Eligible Professionals (EPs) must begin their consecutive 90-day reporting period by Oct. 3 to attest to meeting meaningful use and be eligible to receive an incentive payment for the 2012 calendar year. For those EPs who have completed their reporting period, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has a number of tools available to help prepare for attestation on their website.
CMS encourages EPs not to miss the opportunity to participate in the Medicare Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program. For more information from CMS, click here.
