Upcoming Webinar on Tobacco Cessation

The OSMA is supporting the efforts of the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), OhioHealth and Ohio KePRO to hold a webinar on Tuesday, June 26, titled, “Putting Prevention into Practice: An Evidence-Based Approach to Tobacco Cessation Assessment and Counseling.”

OSMA member Thomas Houston, MD, FAAFP, FACPM, is the keynote speaker for this webinar, which runs from noon – 1:15 p.m. The event is approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credit™ and will provide clinicians, nurses and billing/coding staff with team-based approaches to successfully counsel patients and to improve reimbursement for tobacco cessation services.
