Wednesday, October 24, 2012The 2012 election is not the only event that is around the corner. Medicare physician payments are scheduled to be cut by 27 percent in January 2013 due to the flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR) formula. With candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives hosting town halls and other events in Ohio, the OSMA and the American Medical Association (AMA) are encouraging physicians and their patients to ask candidates about their plans for addressing these cuts and the SGR.
