Medical Waste Disposal

Medical waste disposal can be an expensive component of your office's operating cost.  Now you can significantly lower that cost as the result of the OSMA's partnership with Accu Medical Waste Service, Inc. Accu Medical provides waste management services that include the legal transportation and disposal of infectious medical wastes, non-hazardous chemotherapy waste, as well as pharmaceutical waste.  In addition, Accu Medical provides support and assistance in the implementation of cost effective medical waste management programs for the health care profession.

Most physician offices generate the type of medical waste that must be disposed in accordance with regulations established by the EPA.  It is the responsibility of the medical practice to not only assure that its medical waste is properly disinfected and disposed of, but also to be able to provide complete documentation for this disposal.  Accu Medical is able to provide these services at a cost that is much lower than other waste disposal agencies in the market today.

For OSMA members only, Accu Medical has committed to capping the pricing at a maximum of $40 per 30-gallon box for a period of three full years. This price includes the box, liner, pickup, sterilization, disposal, and manifest.
