Pamelyn Yard, Director of Consulting Services

Pamelyn Yard, LPN, CCS-P, CPC-I, serves as director of OSMA Consulting Services. She has over 25 years of practical experience in both the clinical and administrative aspects of health care focused primarily on physician-based practices. Pamelyn is well-versed in practice management services for solo and multi-facility/specialty physician-based organizations having served both commercial and community funded health care environments. During her career, she has achieved credentials as a pathology histologist, licensed practical nurse, and holds a BS from Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis. She oversees the services currently provided by OSMA Consulting Services and is an approved instructor for both the American Academy of Professional Coders and the American Health Information Medical Association.

Patti Grill, Senior Consultant

Patti Grill, CPC, CPMA, CEMC, is a senior auditing consultant who specializes in managing physician-based documentation and coding audit services for multiple specialties. Her experience includes several years working in a variety of capacities for a multi-physician surgery practice, coding and documentation, coordination of benefits, billing and collections and front office practices. Currently Patti coordinates and conducts physician-focused audits and onsite education services as related to audit outcomes. She holds
a BS from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is certified as a professional coder, a certified professional medical auditor as well as a certified evaluation and management coder by the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Amy Coffee, Practice Consultant

Amy Coffee, CPC, is a consultant who coordinates and performs documentation and coding audits with on-site follow up to communicate audit findings and provide physician education when appropriate. She attended Columbus State University and is certified as a professional coder by the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Sherie Shaffer, Operations Coordinator

Sherie Shaffer, CPC, is the operations coordinator for the OSMA Consulting Services Department. She serves as a team liaison for the entire consulting department in managing and scheduling all client projects. Sherie’s experience in accounting, office organization, data research, business development, collections and customer service facilitate both the client and consulting services in reaching shared objectives. Ms. Shaffer, who attended Columbus State University, is certified as a professional coder by the American Academy of Professional Coders.
