What is PQRSwizard?
PQRSwizard is an easy-to-use online tool to help physicians and other eligible professionals quickly and easily participate in the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). Similar to online tax preparation software, the PQRSwizard helps guide professionals through a few easy steps to rapidly collect, validate and submit results to CMS. PQRSwizard is powered by the CECity registry, a CMS Qualified Registry for PQRS reporting.
What is the Incentive and Penalty Schedule for 2016?
PQRSwizard can assist Eligible Providers and GPRO group practices in avoiding the maximum penalty and achieving the maximum incentive under the 2016 PQRS and the Value Based Modifier (VBM) programs. These programs place approximately 6% of 2018 of allowed Medicare Part B FFS charges at risk.
What is new for 2016?
We are pleased to announce the addition of the three new Measure Groups in 2016: Diabetic Retinopathy, Multiple Chronic Conditions, and Cardiovascular Prevention. We will continue to offer all available Measure Groups including Acute Otitis Externa (AOE), Asthma, Cataracts, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Dementia, Diabetes, General Surgery, Heart Failure (HF), Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Oncology, Optimizing Patient Exposure to Ionizing Radiation, Parkinson’s Disease, Preventive Care, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Sinusitis, Sleep Apnea, and Total Knee Replacement.
The requirements for reporting individual measures are to report at least 9 measures covering at least 3 of the National Quality Strategy (NQS) domains including a cross-cutting measure if an eligible provider sees patients in a face-to-face setting, OR, if less than 9 measures covering at least 3 NQS domains apply to the eligible professional, report 1-8 measures covering 1-3 domains for which there is Medicare patient data, AND report each measure for at least 50% of the eligible professional's denominator eligible Medicare Part B FFS patients seen during the reporting period to which the measure applies. Measures with a 0% performance rate would not be counted.
For an eligible professional who reports fewer than 9 measures covering 3 NQS domains via the registry-based reporting mechanism, the eligible professional will be subject to the MAV process, which would allow CMS to determine whether an eligible professional should have reported on additional measures and/or measures covering additional NQS domains. We will continue to support all PQRS individual measures for registry reporting.
PQRSwizard supports organizations who wish to report under the Group Practice Reporting Option (GPRO). The 2016 PQRSwizard GPRO will enable you to measure, benchmark and improve performance to help achieve value-based goals. Inquire for pricing.
