2026 Physician Fee Schedule Released
Proposed 3.62% Increase for Doctors
Earlier this week, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its proposed rules related to physician fees and other payment policy changes.
Specifically, CMS outlined a 3.62% increase in the conversion factor for physicians not in a quality payment program and 3.83% for those in a quality payment program. There are also a number of proposed changes to areas such as high-cost chronic disease management, wellness initiatives, telehealth, etc.
