Join Dr. Hager as she discusses the diagnosis and treatment of early dementia. With newer advances in dementia care, specifically Alzheimer’s disease, diagnosing the disease early is important for optimizing treatment options.
By attending the session, attendees should be able to:
- Define dementia and the dementia disease continuum
- Explain how to evaluate patients with memory loss
- Briefly describe the most common types of dementia
- Outline non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic interventions for dementia.
