"Health Care is Safe" Public Service Campaign & Resources for Your Practice
As medical practices begin to reopen and resume elective surgeries and procedures, OSMA knows it is critical that Ohioans are assured healthcare facilities are safe and accessible for patients.
We are proud to be engaging in a partnership with the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) and Ohio Children’s Hospital Association (OCHA) to spread the word that healthcare providers are safe, open and available to deliver high-quality care to Ohioans. You can read our combined press release about this campaign, which was sent to media yesterday.
Spreading the Message & How You Can Help
Our partnership developed a series of videos for the campaign, which will be deployed statewide as Public Service Announcements (PSAs). Yesterday, we launched these messages as a social media campaign on the OSMA, OHA and OCHA social platforms.
You and your practice can also help us spread the word and let Ohioans know that healthcare facilities are safe, and that the medical community is encouraging families to visit doctors for medical needs and regular checkups.
Here are some ways you can communicate this message with your patients, as well as some specific resources OSMA is providing to help you do this:
- Send a reassuring letter or email to patients.
You can copy/paste from this PDF letter template, then customize as needed.
- Support the campaign via social media by posting your own messages or sharing content posted from OSMA. You can copy/paste from this PDF of sample posts, then customize as needed.
