CMS updated FAQs on WISeR Model

CMS has provided updated FAQs on the WISeR model that begins in January of 2026,

OSMA has provided updates to members about Ohio being selected as one of six states for the Medicare pilot prior authorization program called WISeR (Wasteful and Inappropriate Service Reduction).

The program will only apply to about 2% of all billable services but you still need to make sure you are aware of how your practice might be impacted.
